I loved my clicker system for splitting before the boots shit the bed. One piece in the sole actually pulled out while riding! But I loved the ease of use; and so light. But like others have said, the boots were the worst part of the system.

Any response is good, even if its dipped in B.S.: CalTrans only plows the highways (I5, 89…) as far as I know. SRS is a funding issue but the bigger problem is, as Shasta G observed, the funds spent on litigation to preserve ancient dams that provide no real benefit to the county.

Schralph I’m sure many like yourself only spend $ in Mt. Shasta City while visiting the mountain but those dollars benefit the county several times over. Between sales tax, hotel tax, keeping shops open (who doesn’t hit the Goat for a bubbly refreshment :guinness: after a climb),…

I love early rise in pow, breakable, mashed potatoes and corn. That said rocker/early rise generally sucks in steep, hard, fast conditions. “Early rise tip chatter” is the term I use to describe the result when railing rocker in hard conditions at high speed. For hard fast riding I’ll take camber hands down.

Not for Dynafits, sounds like they work just fine.

Plates with bales is where the potential pre-release would come up according to the warning.

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about it. Most of us with F1 and F3 boots are using some combination of Catek, Bomber, SnoPro, Burton or Voile bails on Voile sliders without issues.
