That web camera looks to be from the LYR airport. Trust me when I say, “take a sled out to Atomfjella or take a boat across the Isfjord to St. Johnsfjord or way further north to Fair Haven and you will see much better coverage and much better snow.”

Any of you PNWers want to hit some cascades between June 6 and June 15? I get back from Norway on June 3, have to do laundry on June 4, could drive up to PDX/Seattle on June 4&5.

I have alpine mountaineering gear and protection, but very limited skills. And I’m going to be breaking in my new Spantiks!

Looks like good times … what kind of MH tent is that?

I don’t know what I’m more excited for – the lines, the polar bears, or the Scandinavian girls! I just got off the phone with the receptionist at my hotel and fantasized that she looks as cute as she sounds. It almost starts feeling unfair that everyone speaks English – but I’m grateful that it makes for really easy travels!
