Before you mod your Boots, consider trying the Eliminator Tongue. It works for me in that it provides a progressive lean and increase lean angle. Eliminator tongues moving around. I’ll have to try the Intuition wrapstyle liners from the Raichles to see if I can eliminate the Eliminator tongue

The Elimator Tongues should not move around in the liner (underneath the liner tongue, if the supplied Velcro patches are used.

I took Avy 2 through Aspen Expeditions.

While I can’t help with the finding a large Hard Boot. The following may help to understanding AT Ski boot sizing:

A couple of things can be done to take up space within a Hard Boot that is too big.
