I love short boards, first time i got chest down toe side craves on Minnesota ice was on a 95 143 Morrow Lunchtray, i’ve taken my 125 mini down the most technical faces at Moonlight basin, i am stoked to get some Edisons on a Spliff

Wish K2 (or someone) would revive Clickers. They are still the lightest, fastest transitioning, and most releasable binding ever made. I LOVE my Blazes but if someone made these again, with an updated boot design, I would buy them in a heartbeat…

    i am embarrassed for you

I’ve spent close to ten grand in World Boards, I’m not cheap. that stamped metal toe piece on the board, yeah i could bend that with two fingers where the binding hooks in. But I like their heelcup, it is in a snazzy color way. i don’t care what the best riders are doing this season, because it is going to be something different next

these look like these could be fun for skate style resort board, if the made a cambered wide 145 with a spoon nose and tail for buttery flexy fun

The 2012/2013 Blaze binders are 84 grams lighter than the 2011/12 version. That’s almost three ounces. The material has been heavily machined to reduce weight both in the baseplate as well as the heelcup. The most notable refinement in the design however is that the toe strap which was previously held in place by a set of small tabs…

NatasKaput replied to the topic ICS stance pattern for splits? in the forum Splitboards 11 years, 1 month ago

one of the reasons Burton bought Four Square was for the slider system. Forum had the patent on the dual slider, the ICS is not patented. after loosing out on the early binding pattern war (ie vhs vs beta) Burton is trying to instil a new universal system and get a jump on the bindings (they have a patent on the stance dial a meter) I’ve had some…[Read more]

NatasKaput replied to the topic Which new split has the most durable top sheet? in the forum Splitboards 11 years, 8 months ago

i would think performance would be top priority, but if this is an actual concern Venture’s top sheet is the same as the base material, so you can fix it with a p-tex candle

and every Voile board it have seen is cap construction, even on the connecting side, i have never not blown up a cap construction board

yeah i’m still a full grown park rat some times so i have a hard time bringing myself to ride anything over a 162, that is why i’m pretty stoked on this design, i’ll probably get one at World Boards

i’ve riden size 11.5, can cram into 11s, there is all sorts of new shrinkage boots that drop your foot print size, Ride Strike, Burtons with EST, and Salomon linerless (F20 and F22 i do believe) can shrink the out side of the boot over an inch. but wider boards float better, i like 26.5 waist in pow
