I am still riding Clickers as of this morning for over 15 years (and splitting with them for 13). Been told how much they suck for about… 15 years too. Was about about to give up and get some strappy bindings and boots, but now maybe not…

I did one season on K2 Approach skis – 2000-2001. Back then there were definite performance advantages to a resort board vs. a splitboard (one Voile model available or homemade). SOLD! I guess I should’a asked for more, but glad it will go to good use, rather than sit in my garage in the dark.

I am up there often on weekends. Not as much as in the past due to a new business, but will get out more this season, despite my Mt.Rose pass and a 70+hour workweek. I am old, slow, and my black lab climbs on 3 legs now. Both of us have taken rides in small avy’s so don’t look to me for advise on that.

About f’ing time, K2! I hated carrying my Eldo 173 on my back whilst skinning on those crappy little “Approach Skis” back in the day on the uphill, and then getting hit in the head with them on the downhill. Took about a half season before I converted to a splitboard.

Yah, but that was because I had to be home for some family thing at like 5pm (after a 3-hr drive).

The Resort actually responded to an email I sent last week. He says they are trying to be open this weekend. Whether that means the boat’s running or not – I’m not sure.
