That was probably them. Maybe 8-10 of them total – a few on teles with skins and the rest booting it. We only saw three other people, two guys and a solo guy with dogs.

Im down in southern CT. I built a split 2 years ago but have only had it out 4-5 times. I would love to hook up with some other splitters for some weekend outings this year.

It looks like the tail of the board has a slight swallow tail – sort of in the shape of two ski tips next to one another. If that is the case, it would seem they are trying to make this board work with standard straight bail skins.

Nicely done. I like that you included uphill footage.

Feeling the box in your shoulder seems to be pretty common. Especially inside with just a t-shirt on. Mine hits the top of my shoulder blade but once I am wearing a few layers and the pack has some weight in it everything is fine.

I ride 18/6 because it feels comfortable and natural. I still mess with different angles and go duck now and then but I always seem to end up back at 18/6.

I dont think that would be a patent violation. You would be illustrating how to modify a patented product to be used in a way that it was not originally intended.

I don’t have one of the old ones but I plan to order one of the new ones. Cotton/Poly blend would be good but I agree with SanFran that getting them on some kind of capaline or other performance fabric would be great.

Most climbing helmets have a suspension system and are designed to protect the TOP of your head from falling objects. I’m not sure how good they are for lateral impacts (side, front, back) which is the type of impact I would expect in a ski/snowboard crash.

I saw those in BD’s catalog a few weeks ago. They dont look to be much more than non-woven (plastic) window screen.
