It turns out that I had a Morton’s Neuroma in my right foot. I have a write up somewhere on this board but you can look it up on the internet to see if the typical Morton’s Neuroma symptoms match your symptoms:Here is an example:https://www.foothealthfacts.org/conditions/morton-s-neuroma-(intermetatarsal-neuroma)Since my neuroma was “advanced”, I ended up having the neuroma surgically removed (the tumor was 0.9 inches by 0.3 inches). Other than wearing shoes with a larger toe box, my recovery was complete.In less advanced cases, wearing boots with a roomier toe box and thinner socks can make a big difference. In any case, I would recommend seeing a sports podiatrist that it is familiar with ski boot injuries (the injury is more common with skiers because of the tight fitting boots….or women in high heels with a tight toe box)Good luck on your search and recovery.
