I bought a pair of these boots a couple of seasons ago in my never ending attempt to find a proper hard snowboard boot. They are HEAVY and the soles clog up with snow. I struggled through a season with them and now they sit in my “boots that just didn’t work out” graveyard. I found a pair of 2008 Garmont Mega lite boots that weigh about half as…[Read more]

  • I like the flex of the bomber but not the weight. I think we all need to keep working on these kinds of ideas but for now, I don’t see it getting better then the Burton race plate adapted to the Viole binding plate. Does any one have mounting and installation instructions for direct mounting my Dynafit toe pieces to my Mojo 166? Specifically, I am…[Read more]

I always rode with both walk hinges in walk mode to give me the right forward lean/flex combo but you can also try combinations of one locked and one open. As far as mods go, with the…[Read more]

  • About 21 years ago I mutilated my left foot in a skateboard accident. After three months in a cast I was ready to get back on the snowboard but my late 1980’s soft boots and bindings were torture on my newly mutilated foot. I was able to score some used pink Koflach hard boots (remember Damian Sanders?) on the cheep and a friend gave me some old…[Read more]

  • Looking for details on the Garmont Forward lean mod. The pictures help but a step by step would be nice. Thanks
