Use the fold-able first and then the 20oz. Whether I bring both or one is dependent on the objective for a one day tour. This helps reduce pack weight/lost volume by not needing a huge nalgene…[Read more] downthemtn replied to the topic Union Expedition in the forum Bindings 5 years, 2 months agoThe Fourth Phase was a fantastic surf movie. downthemtn replied to the topic Union Expedition in the forum Bindings 5 years, 3 months agoHave you found the cause for the rotation? From watching the install video, the split disks have a channel the pin slides through from one side to the other side of the binding. A 160 would be the max and a 156 a minimum depending on your goals. downthemtn replied to the topic Furberg 167cm solid 1st Gen $250 in the forum Splitboard Swap 5 years, 3 months agoSomeone got a sweet deal!! downthemtn replied to the topic First Splitboard question. in the forum Splitboards 5 years, 3 months agoFrom what I have read about both brands, Weston would be my choice. They ride very well and are incredibly stable on both hard pack and powder. The quality is also top notch which will allow many years of shredding in all conditions. There is a Jones thread around here for more insight on their lineup. downthemtn replied to the topic Furberg 167cm solid 1st Gen $250 in the forum Splitboard Swap 5 years, 4 months agoOn the bottom of the board it looks like a big chunk has been taken out of the edge.
