So I’ve been on these boots for almost 20 days now and am pretty stoked. A few minor issues but I dig the flex and have been stoked on the feel on longer tours thus far.

That’s where I snagged my Fuses–very cool and very unique little shop.

Bent Gate in Golden also demos/rents splits. Whatever you put down towards the rental you get back if you buy it (I think)…

Any chance you meant BMC and not BMT? If so, that might be part of the issues. That board was insanely light (at the time) and the wood they used might not be conducive to holding on to the screws that Voile provides. Just a thought…

OK, as long as we’re picking nits about Mt. Washington, I’ll point out that the elevation is actually 6,288 ft. And although it’s not the highest peak in the east, it’s definitely the gnarliest. NH represent!

Rocker is definitely not marketing hype. In my opinion it’s the future of snowboards (bold statement, I know). But I think that most people that have ridden one would agree. They make it easier to turn, almost intuitive. And w/ the introduction of rocker and camber (Never Summer, Lib and a few others I think) you can kinda get the best of both…[Read more]

Great review. I’m on the same set up as well. Having ridden this board w/ a set of franken-binders/slider plates and now w/ a new set of Fuses, I can say w/ total confidence, that the binding makes the board–it ascends better, descends much more intuitively and is noticeably more responsive going up or down.

I received the email below from Spark yesterday and was able to locate a local dealer to snag their last pair of medium Fuses. However, the shop where I got them (All Board Sports in Boulder) said they have a bunch more coming so it might be worth calling them.
