you are right, I don`t have to read and comment if I´m not interested……
For me it`s important to have long-lasting, reliable material not more and I´m wondering about people discussing about some grams or the perfect setup instead of searching for the perfect turn……
I didn`t want to upset, greets Mansi

Thanks @buell.
I also posted this question to the BOL forums for their input.
Does anyone know the ride heights of those respective bindings for comparison?
For the record I am a bigger guy: 6’4″ and over 200lbs with a 29 mondo.

I finally got to have a look at some proclines in person today! They look really nice. Didn’t get to try on but hand flexed and had a play about with the locking mech. The carbon version seems pretty stiff! Would like to see some non carbon ones.
I’m way too poor to actually be buying a pair anytime soon but had a thought about modding them:
If…[Read more]

That is some interesting information. I have the possibility to try one for 1-2 weeks in Chamonix in april. I’ll keep you updated!buell replied to the topic The first Hardboot designed for snowboard mountaineering in the forum Boots 6 years, 4 months ago
They are expensive, but we don’t know about their durability. They may be completely fine. It will be interesting to put the Gignoux boots to the test. My TLTs are really scuffed up after 2 seasons and both those seasons were on the short side.
I expect a binding design for ledgeless boots would be a modified version of tech bindings.…[Read more]

Wow really cool!
I would agree with previous posts that this is too expensive and not durable enough for the kind of winter activities I want a boot to stand up to, but the statement of finally designing a hardboot specifically for splitting is massive! Let’s hope this inspires some of the big companies at last.
@buell I was thinking about the…[Read more]

permnation replied to the topic Phantom Solo Cleats in the forum Bindings 6 years, 11 months ago
Thanks @buell Very cool setup and so light! It’s more than half off my current interface’s weight (340g+). I want this in a soft boot setup…maybe a collaboration, the Phantom X _________?
permnation replied to the topic Phantom Solo Cleats in the forum Bindings 6 years, 11 months ago
That looks really refined and elegant, great work!
@buell Few questions: Will you explain the single angle? Do you order specific angles like left foot +21 and right foot -6? When you say 163g for a set, is that for 4 pieces and 8 screws? Thanks

Thanks for that clarification @Buell.
Here’s how I understand it. . . And I could be way off.
The history of the development of snowboard shapes aside, most snowboards today have ‘normal’ side cut. This has become the standard shape and thus the ‘normal’ moniker which refers to the center of the circle where the radius is drawn on the same side of…[Read more]HansGLudwig replied to the topic Reverse sidecut/taper in the forum Splitboard Talk Forum 7 years ago
