I did bloody this weekend, 6 mile 6 hour mish to the top. Skinned from maybe a mile off 395, 5000 vertical feet ride all the way back down to the road.

looking for a set of used skins to be used on my second split board for friends who don’t have splits.

if you have a pair laying around you don’t use I’m just looking for a cheap used pair, if they need a re-glue that’s cool too. Board is a 160 and would need them with clips.

Friday I went back up to the east side to get after the baldwin chutes. Saturday we went up the chute to the left in the photo. There was an old large wet slide down the middle but nice snow still to be had on the sides. We noticed another sick taller and narrow chute not visible until you get back in there. On 4/28 we went back to check out the wineglass, it didn’t look great but we tried to find an easy crossing across the creek and couldn’t find one so we gave up and headed toward baldwin mountain but we only rode a shoulder off some no-name…[Read more]

I spent 3 nights at holiday camp off the 395 by Toms Place, with Mammoth receiving 3-4 feet of snow recently I expected snow camping, but Holiday was bone dry no snow.

It was more like Old Crusty Mans Bowl. We were hoping for a pow fest a couple days after the storm but the winds got to it first. There was a crust over soft snow all the way from Convict Lake. Lots of Avy in the chutes before old mans bowl most likely during the snow. Still had a nice run…[Read more]
