Here’s the rundown from this years event.

Remember all those times you have seen gnarly footage from north of Norway and said to yourself that one day you would shred that pristine untouched territory? Well, now is your chance to do just that.

From 9-12th of April 2015 the legendary #LSTF – Lofoten Split & Toppturfæst – kicks off its annual gathering. Located in Lofoten, conveniently 20 minutes away from the surf spot Unstad, Ballstad offers great opportunities for skiing and splitboarding with hundreds of peaks dazzled in between arctic surf breaks.

For three days splitboarders, skitourers, surfers and locals will gather for mountaineering and fun, in a mountain-world like no other.

Laid-back atmosphere, combined with endless possibilities of hiking straight out of base camp makes this festival something truly unique.

Local guides will ensure that safety is maintained, and the well-known freeskier Kaj Zackrisson will inspire and coach both in the mountains and back at the lodge.

Riders live together in Hattvika Lodge right on the fishing docks where the Lofoten fishing industry have their headquarters. Don’t get surprised if one of the local fishing guys come up to you to discuss skinning technique when you enjoy your morning coffee at the docks preparing yourself for the first hike of the day. It’s all a part of the game living in Lofoten. You skin, you ride and you fish.
