Backcountry skiing, snowboarding, and splitboarding are HAZARDOUS activities which present risks of injury or death.
Certain risks of backcountry skiing, snowboarding, and splitboarding may be reduced, but not entirely eliminated by educating yourself about these risks, taking avalanche courses, attending classes, and by using care and common sense.
Snowboards and Splitboards do not have releasable bindings. Backcountry snowboarders and splitboarders should be aware that the binding systems are not designed or intended to release and that any risk of non-release is an inherent risk of backcountry snowboarding and splitboarding. Users assume and accept any and all risks of injury while using this equipment.
