Altus mountain split camp

Altus Mountain Guides is offering a follow up to their Level 1 splitboarding camp with their Big Mountain camp. Check out the details below.

Ready to step up to bigger days and become more of a leader on your trips.  The goal of this splitboarding camp is to teach you the skills to safely travel and ride in larger glaciated alpine terrain. Based out of Whistler BC this course is taught by 2 time Olympian and pro big mountain rider Justin Lamoureux and IFMGA/ACMG mountain guide Ross Berg. Justin has nearly 20 years of backcountry experience and recently tried to ride and film all 30 mountains he can see from his house in Squamish in a single season for “The Backyard Project” web series. As a full mountain guide, Ross has spent years guiding in the European Alps and Canada on both skis and a splitboard. The experience these two bring to the mountains and their campers is nearly unmatched.
