I ride a Burton freebird 158 with Spark R&D Blaze Bindings and Burton Ruler boots.
So far this is a great freeride setup and I am very impressed with the quality of the products.
*board* Really a work of art, The S-rocker is very nice for everything, it breaks trail well and is stable in all conditions. Nimble yet Fast.
*Bindings* Super awesome job Spark! Picked up the LT pin system aswell and it kicks butt on the skintrack! Straps are made by burton and very nice. Also very responsive on the decent.
*boots* Don't get me wrong I really love these boots. Stiff yet buttery. But I will Problaby buy some Spark boots next season for the crampon compatability.
Feel free to post your reviews (I am really curious about the karakoram System and the Jones Hovercraft Spilt)

Winterstick ST62 split - great in big mountain conditions, doesn't have or I haven't found a speed limit yet. Little more work in soft snow or a slow speeds, but manageable.
Jones Flagship 58 solid - my daily resort driver, haven't owned it enough to call it the best I've ridden, but I certainly can say its in the top 3 already
Jones Hovercraft 60 solid - best powder board I've ridden to date, hands down. So much so I will probably get it in a split 60 version next year.
Bindings - Spark Burners w/LT no complaints, Burton buckles are smooth as butter. I really like the neg lean for touring, but I need to mark them better so I know my fwd lean is set right on transition. Had K binders, worked well but I had setup issues I couldn't get around.
Boots - Burton Rulers. Burton boots always seem to have fit me well over the years. I loved the Rulers out of the box, but this is second season and they are soft as hell now and completely packed out. I really want a pair of SLX's, but might go for some 32's or something else next year. Either way, boots are on the must have list for next season.

I checked out CHIMERA And they seem pretty nice But a little pricy
perhaps in comparsion to Chinese or Tunisian made **** like K2 and Jones, but all the quality made in US splits are around $900. quality made in Canada splits (Trapper, Prior) are also in this price category (Trapper has a sale price if one puts down $200 before 5/31) You get what you pay for with quality made in the US/Canada boards like Venture, Chimera, Winterstick, Prior, and Trapper.

Partly true. They are not made in Vermont, or anywhere else in the US. But they are very competitively priced, I'll agree with you on that.

I think you may want to double check that, my wife's Freebird has a big stamp in that say "Made in Austria". They are nice boards but not US made.

Yup. Burton shipped overseas. Put some locals out of work. I guess the story was that local business tax around here is off the chart so Jake said screw it and moved production to Austria. But we still have the best syrup
