That's it. As soon as those Edison bindings come out, I'm doin' a DIY split on my Rossi Mini. 121 centimeters of tree swerving, narrow chute rocking, and corn snow eating goodness. Anyone know if you can get aftermarket binding inserts? I wanna move my rear foot back an inch.
Action sports technologies has nice inserts for 50 cents each. You can get inserts at most hardware stores but not the same as the real ones. A 121cm board? that's insane! Gotta be at least 133cm bbb032 by Huck Pitueee, on Flickr

^^^ That board looks sweet Huck, A short fatty aka chode That drop is attained from hiking out on the North Side of Kit Carson Pass thats all the info though And Hans, Its super easy to install extra inserts, the inserts are like 10 cents each and the epoxy is cheap, but the bit will cost the most. And yea that Edison from sparks look rad, epecially for the DIY splitter

I call it a chub cuz fish was taken. The hard part about tiny boards is getting all the deck gear to fit without one thing interfering with another. You're locked into where the climbing bracket ends up and have to compromise around that. This 155 cm has the toe of your boot touch the puck. Lucky it hasn't bothered me. sierrachub005 by Huck Pitueee, on Flickr

HAHAHAHAHA split the mini!!! i actually thought the same thing, LESS weight, kinda like snowshoes and SO MUCH FUN IN THE SLUSHIES!!! its about mini time here in colorado with all this spring weather.. no joke, it would be usefull to split a mini.. my goal for this year is to do a fairly large chute on the mini.. and boy will I cut me some turns, like a 1000 of them..
That Atomic is very inspiring. I'll look at that more before the summer board building spree. I just measured the effective edge on my 156 cm and it's 110 cm. The board is rockered tip to tail and just can't do what the 133 cm can. https://vimeo.com/39108231 That's how it rides in firm corn with an inch of pow on top. Extreme music warning. Ps That board has no p-tex or edges.
