On 3 10 12, braal and I made an attempt on the Dead Elk Couloir in RMNP. Unfortunately, it was too icy in the shade to be anything but dangerous, so we aborted and climbed out.

Yes, "interesting" would be a good word for it. I felt like it was a good idea to post this, as turning back from this line was a good decision on this day.
It has been a bit of a frustrating season, but there is always next year.
