Has anyone rode the Voile V-Tail yet? I went the Voile sub-forum where V-tail was listed and there was no information. Just curious how it rides, what length to get (I normally ride 160), how does it do at a resort, etc.? Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

Nice Jive Stick! If I'm accustomed to riding a 160 is there any need to adjust that for the V-Tail? I've never ridden a V-Tail before. Would this board do "okay" on a resort if I wanted to skin up? Anything else you or anyone else care to share before I make the big purchase?
Thanks!

Sorry about the thread you mentioned. I had initially provided a detailed review of the 180 and 190 as a courtesy to Voile, but for personal reasons I was compelled to disassociate myself from them and not provide them with free advertising...
At any rate, I only ride swallowtails (split and solid); and yes you should account for the tail on top of your preferred board length. You'll be denying yourself the true swallowtail experience if you go smaller than a 170. It's a totally different ride... Stiffer swallows are just as amazing on groomers as they are in powder, soft swallows not so much (the vag-tail is pretty stiff). Beware swallowtails can be treacherous in breakable crust!

Just noticed that thread. You of course have every right to delete your posts in that thread Doug for your own personal reasons but it sorta reminds me of a child not wanting to share his toys with the other kids in the sandbox. YMMV and hope all is well!

Makes sense, seeing how you don't have a clue about what went down...
