What bindings do you recommend for Koflach / Oxygen Vario Superpipe Boots? I found a pair of Superpipes for my wife at a thrift store for five dollars. Do the Superpipes boots need a high-back (such as the Voile Light Rail) or will they work fine for powder days using the Voile Plate Binding?
My wife has a pair of Scrapa Magic AT boots (and Voile Plate Bindings) for all around riding. Just thinking the Superpipe boots might be a better ride for her in soft powder conditions.
Also I would like to upgrade the Superpipe liners to a thermo-molded liner, like Intuition. Does anyone have any suggestions for a liner make and model?

When I had O2's here on the ice coast i used a regular strap binding. There was some lateral slop in my men's large bindings. I also remember them having a lot of rocker which made it odd because there was so little sole contact with the binding. Isn't the upper on this boot really floppy? From what I remember i wouldn't want to be in anything but powder with a plate binding and these boots.

I rode a pair of Koflach Superpipes for less than a season when I was 13 with plate bindings and I remember nothing but problems with them. I was constantly ejecting off the board and they really were floppy. It's good to have survived my youth. My dad rode Superpipes for a couple of years in strap bindings but he's always been a bit of a character.
