If the bails do not cant with the boot, you will have uneven pressure on the bail and the boot. I cannot see how the boot would be secure in the binding.

I would think you would only want your ride mode to be canted not the whole binding for touring reasons.

With Dyanfit toe pieces, it does not matter because the bindings are in your pack on the uphill.

What about direct mount of the plates+bails to each board half? will mean more weight skinning but also the cloesest 5mm + ur binding plate off the board? good or bad. or would you rather have them removable?

I vote removable. any extra weight on the board defeats the purpose of dynafits on the up.

Here is Tour Mode. The toe block can snap in and out with ski pole tip and fits dynafit bindings.

How high off the board?

Ride height will be around 10-12mm with footbed, currently its a little higher.
