With the lack of significant snowfall in VT, the only way to ride half way decent snow has been to find were the wind is moving that freshly fallen inch. Last Sunday high temps in the mountains were forecast to be well below 0ºF and the resort had been very icy. There was a fresh .5" on snow on the ground and whipping winds. Instead of survival boarding on the resort, we knew it would be easy to stay warm touring around the higher elevation zones. We headed to the lee side and found some decent snow! Glad your finding some stashes and making some slashes! In my 7 year stint out east, I had a whooping ONE epic powder day (albeit that one day was on my top 5 pow days at a resort every). And thats ONE big reason I said F the east coast for riding... altho in all honestly, its not as bad as everyone thinks. I managed to have a couple aight days out there...but if you grew up in CO
