Nice work! Was up there the first 10 days of the month and we had stellar weather at a hut and a short 2.5 days on the Pass. I usually tie off my spikes with a half of a double fishermans knot around one of the toe strands. If there is lots of slack, use a half a triple, or even quadruple. If you don't use those crampons for any bigger boots like plastics, then just trim them (leave 2-4" of slack) and finish the end by burning it with a lighter, then pressing it together with fingers once it starts to cool to get a clean end. Cheers
