Whenever the sun stays up just a bit longer I am down for dusk patrols. I did a ton last year with Jeri and one of the days was the best turns of the year for me. Probably starting next month I can dusk patrol any day.

I'm down, I've got a lot of riding to catch up on. I used to do post work runs up the Y and Coalpit, great workout 5 min from my house, theres always a booter set, I can get off @ 3 what times do you guys get off? I was going to throw this out in a private PM but since this thread is mainly just 5 of us, I'll throw this out.....Would love to get a running club together for spring to summer. Try to meet once a week for a medium distance run, I know Snowvols, Wasatch, Snurfer are all runners could be a lot of fun and a good way to keep motivated. Take care everyone.

I 'may' get out to the ultra-zone Thurs/Fri morning, but I need to be back at my vehicle by 8:30 and workbound... Mon/Wed dusk patrols are a possibility, limited to BCC and proximity to work and home. And I'm always up for a run, as long as I'm able to to maintain my training commitments...
Despite my own uncomplicated lifestyle I still have to be extremely focused in order to maintain my fitness and progression. Whether it means turning down a late dinner invite so I can get to bed early, or passing on a powder day so I can get my long run in. It all comes down to balancing ones level of commitment with ones expectations.

Good blog post Snurfer.
I am in the same boat as Snurfer when it comes to running. I am generally free to run any night after work, but will adjust my training accordingly. Anyone wanna do the Utah Half Ironman with me this year?
North facing snow was "smooth and creamy, like peanut butter". That ALO song kept playing in my mind during my run. West aspects weren't bad either but the M-F crust under the new snow was apparent if you slash hard enough. Didn't notice any instabilities apart from some small roller balls on the lower south aspects.

Whitepines update and the talk of dusk patrols motivated me to get out, I don't think I would have otherwise. I got a late start and was still able to get up and down in plenty of time.
Small slide I noticed on the way up S facing remote or possible natural

Nice photos Nic I got out in BCC for a for south facing quickie this morning. Conditions varied wildly; from pow to blown facets and soft breakable to supportable fast crust. Sadly, the sun is going to destroy this aspect today Thanks to brother coyote for gracing my skin track with good karma this morning Sorry I missed you Dan, phone batteries...

RE: Sunday... Snowvols the forecast is looking snowy (wet) so I'll probably pass. Have fun in windy town
Today I had the pleasure (and associated sleep deprivation) of touring before work and trail running after work. I already described the morning and it was pretty decent given the quick up and down.
This afternoon I ran in Millcreek and the conditions were stellar. Packed out trail, fine views of Porter and Bowman Fork's. Saw a couple impressive lines on Gobblers, spotted a splitter on a V-Tail exiting Porter, and to cap things off I ran into to Jivestick and got to catch up with him for a few minutes. Good talking to ya man, with any luck we can get out on the big swallows this season...
