First great site! I have been riding the split in AK for 9 years (post holer and shoes before Anyway, I have tried every damn boot and binding config under the sun. My point! I use an AT boot and Voile mountain plate now. And I absolutely shred the plates each year.
Question? Is there something else that is stronger? Any solutions welcome.

Your best options are:
1. Buy a set of F2 Plates and pull the toe/heel pieces off and mount them to the Voile slider. The hole pattern on the F2 matches the hole pattern of the Voiles with no modifications.
2. Buy a set of Bomber Splitboard Bindings.
The F2 route will be somewhat lighter than the Bombers, but there is still a great deal of plastic in the mix. I can't promise the F2s would hold up any better than the Voiles, though I suspect they are a bit beefier.
The Bombers will likely wear out after your body parts give up. They will be noticeably stiffer than both the Voiles and F2s.
You can find F2 plates to harvest toe/heel pieces for under $100. The Bombers are $165 from the Splitboard.com store.
FYI - the new Bomber Splitboard Bindings are lighter than the older version... Bomber eliminated most of the subplate, so the toe blocks and heel blocks attach directly to the slider plate.
ssattler, i use Garmont, Mega Rides. I don't use the Dynafit, toe peice modification, because it seems a little spendy for a few ounces off the feet... i've taken care of the cant and lift issues, by having mtnrider mill some custom, cant & lift shims that fit underneath my slider pucks.
