WPCS is officially closed down. With out giving us a chance to fix the issue, this post was up, the magazine who was writing an article on us was written too and craigslist was flagged. Had we been given the opportunity to rectify the situation, it would have been. Since this post, the 9 other boards that were lined up have been canceled by the customer and boards and money given back to their respective owners. The money for this board will be refunded when we are in a position to do so as the company is officially belly up. We have shut down the facebook site and will only be doing work for people who ask us. We would like to thank NeverSummer(Chad) for his patience with the refund, and his willingness to fix the situation. We only wish that the issue was able to be addressed and corrected prior to the blasting.
We hope that everybody in the forum or not has a wonderful and safe winter earning every line possible. Remember, gear is no substitute for knowledge. We encourage every back country traveler to take avy level 1, wear appropriate gear and ride safely watching for the red flags.
From us at WPCS,
Thank you for your time.
This is why we all belong to a forum, to share knowledge with one another. One bad experience saved 9 other people from experiencing the same or worse. Learn your craft WELL and then sell it. Otherwise expect more of the same. Righteous indignation will not help you learn to split boards or serve customers. Good luck with that.

Any company that stood behind its work would never have returned a job like that to its owner; it would have said, "We screwed up your board, and we'll buy you a new one." It's nice that WPSS says it will refund the money eventually, but one can't call that "craftsmanship." One can pay a little more and get a perfect water jet cut from several places. Don't screw around with amateurs. Total bummer.

Maybe he can lend you his gear, if it even works, until he can compensate you, since he has deprived you of makingnsome turns.

You gave him plenty of time before you put him on "blast." Plus, if you look at it, basically he slipped with his skilsaw and cut the blade/kerf into the middle of the board rendering it jagged. He knew he messed up at that moment, and why he would pass it off as quality work is beyond me.

Hmmmmm If the demand for splits is that great that people would pay $300-500 for these boards, im heading to the US to live the dream . Surely these wont sell for the asking price, although it seems someone has blow $300 on the Rossi, crazy!

jesus harold christ!
I just discovered this thread! bummer about the board. my question is how did you avoid kicking his ass when you picked up the board?
I can't actually believe people are out there charging money for that quality of work. If I would have known thats all you had to do, I would have given up this stupid photography shit a long time ago! In case anyone wants to throw $100 at me i'll be cutting boards one handed and blindfolded all night!

Just wanted to update you guys, if anybody cares. I never heard back from WPCP or Jordan Schwartz. He said he was going to refund me, but that never happened. Be careful if you let someone else split your board. Ask a lot of questions, check their work, and make sure they know what they are doing.
