I am looking at buying a split board, and I am wondering if i can throw my Burton P1 HD bindings that i use on my regular board onto a split board without having to invest in another pair of bindings.

Any help on this would be great

Forum member bcd posted his thoughts on the Burton P1 binding here.

I haven't used the P1 or any other Burton bindings since the late 90's but I did just pick up some C60s I'll be trying soon.

From what I read in bcd's post and considering my own preconceptions, the downsides to using the P1 (and C60 only not as much) seem to be:

Weight
Lack of "relaxed"
