MLK weekend was -20ºF. We had some new winter camping gear that we wanted to test, so we set off into the woods for the weekend. It also coincided with our first major snowfall of the year. Not much riding because the woods were still super low tide. More words and photos here.
That same weekend, Brian stuck to doing laps on the closed trails at Bolton Valley. Here are some shots from his GoPro.
Last week we saw 40ºF temps and rain that quickly froze up and put a nice glaze on everything. Thankfully mother nature laid enough fresh snow on top of the crust for us to have some fun. The woods still aren't great, so we decided to put in a full day of touring and scope out some zones. 8 hours in the skin track and we even got a few fun turns out of it. More words and photos here.

always good to hear some stories from the northeast (though sometimes they remind me of why i don't move back). it makes me laugh when people on the west coast talk about the weather being "cold".
