Thanks for geeking out for us! Next year looks pretty sweet. My few thoughts.
1) Jones carbon looks interesting, wonder how the Tunisians will pull that one off and keep quality up? Looks like they are trying to do a split with carbon too, wonder how light that will be?
2) The NS raptor really needs to be added to my solid quiver, that board looks so quality.
3) The Venture Euphoria really needs to be added to my splitboard quiver, and I am going to try and demo this board ASAP.
4) Burton actually looks like its putting out some quality and variety in the splitboard market with a few offerings. Interesting to see how that continues and affects the market in terms of pricing. That Cheetah looks sweet as well, would love to ride that thing, looks fun.
5) I'd love to see the specs for the Dakine and Mammut airbags in terms of weight. I'm most excited about the Dakine, looks like a Blade with an airbag. I was thinking of getting a blade, so this would be a cool offering. Also getting more companies in the market may drop price, which would be nice.

Good stuff, and 2012/2013 looks like an exciting winter.

Nice---thanks for posting these photos!!! Pretty exciting stuff all around. 2013 will be the year that I make the investment in an air bag--so it is cool to see both several new options and as well as refinements of current offerings coming our way in 2013.

I want that venture board. It's nice to see splitboardning is becoming mainstream, that means more options when you are buying boards. I'm really excited for what will come in a few years. Ultralight boards? tapered shapes like on the furbergs?

Carbon seems to be the way to swank your board these days. Donek has a sweet custom carbon option, wish i had the cash. (fuck i wish we just had some snow) two years after record snowfall we've got record low snowpack in northern AZ?!#@

Its hard to believe that anyone would want to carry there board on their back up the hill and then carry how ever many pounds of collapsable skis in there pack back down? No thanks

Seems like a great idea for noboarding though

Without a sled I've found that the almond mfg pads have worked best for me for self propelled no boarding, having the option of going back to bindings at lower elevations is pretty great

Skins are finally getting the treatment they deserve. After all, they are key tools for getting us to the top and they’ve gone relatively unchanged for years. Salewa, parent company of Dynafit, recently acquired Pomoca, the 80-year-old Swiss brand behind the skins for Dynafit and K2. Pomoca will release four new skins in North America, each with fibers designed for specific weather, climate and snow—just like wax for Nordic skiing. Black Diamond redesigned their skins with longer, flatter fibers to increase glide. On the sticky side, their new Gold Label adhesive is advertised to adhere less to itself, making skins easier to pull apart.G3 has changed their skins too, in order to improve grip on steep or slick terrain.

The Mountain appraoch system is a great idea for noboarders, they still need to dial the system in. Better hinges! you know what Im talkin about if you have ever toured w these LOL
