This makes my heart so sad. I consider him a friend even though we only met once. He was super strong on the up and had a incredibly positive vibe, screaming woooo, hooooo as he shredded his line. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Damn...Bum deal Alec. I'm sure you made quick work of the skin track to heaven.

I think this is even more important then how bold you are perceived to be. Even the most benign situation can turn ugly quick. Be careful everywhere. Narcids and collisions with immobile objects are just as dangerous.

I didn't know Alecs personally, but I know he was well liked by many... Positive thoughts to all concerned...

Never cool to hear a fellow shredder go down. positive vibes out to friends/family. I have seen some recent videos from utah forecasters...looks like terribly sketchy conditions out there so play safe everybody.

Its scary to think about how something so fun can become serious in a split second.
Condolences to his friends and family.

So bummed out to hear about this accident.

This is just a season to dial it waaaaay back in the intermountain West. The trophy lines are just not worth it right now. Probably not until late spring. Sucks, but it's a shitty hand we've been dealt this year.

RIP Alecs. My sincerest condolences go out to all of his family and friends.

Alecs, I didn't know you, but you contributed some great stuff to the snow riding community. Your stoke was infectious, and your photography beautiful.

Shred on in the other side!
