Wow, what a great event again this year! Thanks Wade!

I managed to get some time off work for this trip, so I started driving north from Los Angeles, CA on January 1.

About 200 miles from LA I start hearing some noise coming from the transmission. What the #@*%!

So new plan fly to Seattle, carpool to Rogers Pass. Thanks to snowvols and jeri this was no problem and I was touring Fri at Rogers Pass.

I stayed at Glacier Park Lodge for 7 days then hopped a bus back to Seattle for 4 more days. I rode 10 out of 11 days and climbed over 45k. I'm so stoked to have ridden with some great people in some amazing places with incredible snow. Thanks to all of you that helped make this trip so good. I didn't take enough pic's but that how it goes when riding pow!

Finally I'm so down for this event I got a new tattoo of the splitfest logo on my hip. It's a work in progress...needs more outlining, but the red is good. I got it in the Cascades when I bounced into a couloir wall.

sorry i didn't get north to meet you swanny. looks like we both failed in the 4runner department. some spineless turd did this to my ride while i was away. he took the keys without permission (from my friend who was looking after it) totalled it, then fled the state without paying a cent. awesome. :nononno:

The official tally is in: $4,368.94 raised for the CAC Fund and $419.22 raised for the Craig Kelly Fund for a grand total of $4,788.16

Hey All,

So I am completely jonesing right now and I want to start shopping travel plans for 2013. I was wondering if it will be on the first or second weekend of January again. If anyone is interested in joining up, I'll be flying into Seattle, I think, and renting an RV. I will be going to some other passes for some overnighters as well.

Anyways let me know about prospective dates for next year.
