And... we're off!
Hiked around a little in the notch this morning. The wind was kind to the west-facing slopes. With about a foot and a half more snow, everything will be riding very nicely.

Western face of the notch got a nice five or so inches last night. Trees were riding pretty nice. Strangely enough there wasnt any snow recorded at the stake last night. Zephyr 163, brandy wine 154 and spark lts in the mail!

Made some real nice turns on some feather light snow! about 5" of blower on crust was good for some low angle tree riding in southern/central Greens. The next storm should put alot of things in play, however it's still like early season out there. Some Jong put a huge core shot in one my shop's demos and totally rounded some edges so...... be careful!

Sounds like there's some snow in the forecast tonight into tomorrow (my guess is that it'll add up to around 6"), but then there's another warm up with some mixed precip later in the week. Hopefully the pattern will change soon and we'll start getting more consistent cold and snow.
FYI, the Alpine Shop is having a winter sale right now on pretty much everything in the store. Just snagged a Jones Solution for $640 (before tax). As of yesterday, they still had a 164 Solution, a Hovercraft split, and a handful of Jones solid boards.
