I know a guy that rides 200 days a year and he gets the Ride Insano every year, and he loves them. They are very stiff, but they flex when needed unlike the Driver X - from my boot search. I went for a boot not as stiff, the Malamute at the end of last season. The dual boa is nice so you can adjust the upper or lower zone depending on what you are doing without having to retie laces.
So I tried these on in the store the other day and liked them so much I ordered them. I couldn't believe how stiff they were compared to the T1's. Anyone else have any milage in these? I killed a pair of brand new RFL's last season in a matter of 10 days in the bc. Loved how light and comfortable they were, but obviously holding up to some long days was not taken into concideration when they were designed.
side hilling is a "pleasure" crank on the top boa and I am wearing a pair of ski boots.
one thing to watch out on is the liner, seam between the tongue and the main boot, the stitching is not super robust for the repeated ripping the liner in and out of the boot. but easy to stick a goretex patch over the seam and this has held mine no problem.
