If it actually snows a few inches tonight I'm going to tour out mitchell creek toward the white river and check some stuff out on friday. I've heard theres some cool stuff hidden inbetween meadows and the white river canyon but haven't looked personally. Your welcome to join. I will be heading out around seven.
Sorry I missed your post christoph I would of been totally down to tour this morning.

Wondering about any personal or internet based information on a Mt. Hood Circumnavigation this spring.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've read through Van Tilburg's book pretty thoroughly and noticed a few sites online offered some information, but was wondering what kind of time frame, route beta, or any needed essentials would be required en route.
Most of it seems straight forward but as with any undertaking, I'm sure there some stuff that will undoubtedly come up.
Many thanks, and here's to a plentiful La Nina.
Also - There's two of us from Hood River that are heading down to listen to Chris' presentation on the 10th. If anyone would like to carpool let me know. We plan on returning later in the evening.

Anyone know if there are turns to be had near Barlow Ridge hut? I'll be in there over the weekend with a couple non-splitter friends. Looks like there is a 1000' fall line off the ridge. Not expecting much if anything right now given the lack of snow but curious for future ideas. Cheers.
Hey guys. My wife and I are planning a possible move to Portland this year and I want to start tapping into the network here. We are gonna make a trip mid-march from Norcal and it would be great to meet some new people and tour around a bit. Also, anyone here involved in woodworking in any way? Or, do you have any friends that own or work at a shop? Furniture making in particular? I will be looking for a job at some point. Thanks and looking forward to riding with you.
hey darrick whats up man. Portland has a very welcoming scene for anyone making something with their hands whether it be art/ woodworking, sculpture, metal or whatever. give yourself a week up here on your vacation.
acmcmurray- lets keep an eye on the freezing level but yeah, lets do all of that.
