A step in the right direction. I bought a pair from a guy who didn't like the fit of these boots. To be honest I didn't like the fit either....but I ride Intuition liners (power wrap) in my boots and as soon as I put my liners in these boots my concerns about the fit were gone. My biggest suggestion would be to have the internal heel harness sewn into the shell, not just velcro on the heel. I have written many companies in the past asking for a hybrid boot like these, stoked to see what is produced in the coming years.
Thanks Deeluxe for helping with the progression of splitboarding!

Here's a link that discusses heat moulding various liners and other boot fitting advice. This site is for hardboot carving boards but discusses the three Deeluxe liner types, as Deeluxe is a big player in carving hardboots. The key pieces of information for me were that the ThermoFlex liners used in the Spark boots need to be oven heated not air hose heated such as Burton, Salomon etc. Also, the thermoFlex liners are designed such that they will fit incredibly tight until they are moulded. Anyways it's a good read for anyone considering purchasing or moulding these boots. http://www.alpinecarving.com/bootfitting.html

I wonder if its still a giant boot or if they shrunk the profile down? I passed on the first version when I checked them out, but I need new boots. 5 years on these ones and they are pretty bagged out..

I thought some of the feedback was about how incredibly bulbous the boot was and how thick/tall the sole is. They couldn't lower it a little? That thing makes bunny boots look svelte.
