The only time I have issues is when the snow is firm. Tip and tail clips pop off constantly. When I'm riding pow, its never an issue.

Heh, the tail of my DIY Mullet is so trashed and delaminated I can't even use the tail clip. Cool mod, especially if the plastic clips start to wear down & do start to rattle open.

On my Burton S, they would pop off on icy chatter. I think that the K-clips would be better because they are stiffer and flat on the bottom where they sit on the board, but this mod works well too!
