Heh, the tail of my DIY Mullet is so trashed and delaminated I can't even use the tail clip. Cool mod, especially if the plastic clips start to wear down & do start to rattle open.

On my Burton S, they would pop off on icy chatter. I think that the K-clips would be better because they are stiffer and flat on the bottom where they sit on the board, but this mod works well too!
