These maps and guides are the culmination of many years work and backcountry snowboarding. Each map sheet presents a 1:25,000 topographic map on one side with over 30 colour oblique-angle photos and route descriptions on the reverse side. The maps present climbing and access routes, shelter locations, as well as descent areas classified for avalanche terrain exposure. Information for the maps was collected by actual ground research and was complied by professional a Cartographer, a ACMG Guide, and CAA professionals.
These maps are perfect for locals who want to increase the scope of their riding options and for individuals who are planning to visit the Kootenays.
check em' out and support splitboarders who are trying to shake up the old boys in the ski industry.

They are currently only available from my website, they will be available at retailers in Rossland and Nelson after the official launch at Cafe Books west on December 11th. You can pick them up from the launch as well, it will be from 300 to 600 and there will refreshments served.

I got my car back, so I am good to go! Just say where and when, and I'll be there!
430 at the Esso in Salmo, we'll just let Davis confirm. We don't access Waldie from the Pass, but from Sheep Creek. It's a 6 km road ski to the trail and then about 1.5 km to the cabin, it'll take a couple hours at least.

Hey, I was hoping I could get some insight from someone that has been to Kootenay pass and Wyoming 22. I've toured around Wyoming 22, but never near Kootenay. I can't imagine anywhere has the, literally hop out of the car and ride, access like WY 22 but I was hoping Kootenay was close. I'm going somewhere in February (wherever the snow is) and would like to do a few resort days with a few tour days. Any feedback is much appreciated .
