Free Intro to splitboarding event in SLC 11/30/11

Free introduction to splitboarding at the Salt Lake Surf Company tomorrow night. It will be a relaxed evening of demonstrations, discussions, questions, etc. Come on down!

BYOB, and stay for a showing of My Own Two Feet.

Yo Snurfer! Come down and drink beer, so I can finally shake your hand! I'd be stoked if all the 'know-it-alls' came down to harass me, and maybe contribute more of the vast wisdom that's out there.

(Be careful, I might call on you, Snurfer!) :mrgreen:

Open to splitboarders of all ages and experience levels, and even skiers, snowshoers, airline pilots, college students, mental health therapists, quirky uncles, etc.

SL Surf is planning on more splitboard events in the future, so this could be a monthly gathering in Sugarhouse.

How long do you think the seminar will last? I know how to split, but would like to come meet a lot of you guys to put a face with name.

Should be about an hour, give or take. Sort of depends on who show's up, who's interested in what, etc. Then time to hang out, talk, or watch the movie.

As far as SEC is concerned, we're here to provide some basic info. if people want it, answer some questions, or just have a good discussion.

Come on down, I like putting faces to names as well. Cheers! :drinks:

sounds fun, i'll try to stop by. plus I still haven't figured out the whole splitboard thing, I think i'm confused i've half way turned my splitboard into an AT setup, someone help :wink:

And true, right? If you're free, bring you're setup down to toss in the mix with other boards, to show some different modifications, etc.

It was nice to meet all of you guys and it was good just to talk splitboarding. It did make not help my jonesing for powder though. :drinks:
