There's only one first chair, and patrol owns it. Leave behind the cattle herd in the liftline. Save yourself the hassle of the sled and the gold card crowd with their cats and helis. Seek solitude and an untracked canvas with the Freebird—the latest advancement in splitboards. Rising to the top with S-Rocker™, tapered shaping, and Side Effects for enhanced floatation, the Freebird is more than just a choice; it's a way of life.

wow thanks for posting this super original video.
so tired of all of these "pros" that have splitboarded less than half a season making these lame videos. we all get that touring gets you away from the resort and yes, you can look at mountains and then ski them. i'm not saying new people shouldn't get into the sport or enjoy it, but these videos and the whole "come to jesus" splitboard bandwagon is wack.

Wow...so you're calling me out for trying to do my job (promote splitting). Thanks WS
I realize the video didn't have any ground breaking info but the things I was stoked to see was Burton take the time to promote the Freebird and the personal revelation Danny has about splitting.
Whether it's the revelation Cowboy had in 1992, the one I had in 2000, or the one thousands of riders have had since then its all the same. When the light goes off that you can hike up anything you want on your own will and a split is the best tool to use, it gets me stoked for our sport.
It's fine that you took away something totally else from the video. To each their own. Happy winter.

so post this video on TGR or another snowboarding website(and maybe you did), not splitboard.com
