Hey Front Rangers,
Just started splitting, but i've been riding for 15 years. Got my avy 1, and am currently a very conservative rider in the backcountry (w/ that said i wish i had the avy knowledge/backcountry experience to ride some of the bigger riskier lines).
I stay in Dillon Valley on the weekends and most of my snow sliding endeavors begin from there.

Looking for riding partners to explore Front Range/CO terrain this spring. Email if interested!

Looking to hit the snake couloir off Sneffels this upcoming Saturday if the weather holds and need a partner. East Castle and North Maroon are also on the tick list for this season if anyone is interested.

Bump!
Hello all -
This is my first season on a split, & have been riding for 14 years. (I do have my avy 1 cert) Looking to get out & tour as much as possible to gain some experience.
I'm interested in shuttle laps, short & long tours, chutes, trees...anything. Looking to ride any of the front range zones & beyond.
My days off are Monday & Tuesday, I'm also able to tour/ride until noon on any other day of the week.
Email, PM or give me a call/text message. 3.0.3<remove>8.5.9<remove>9.7.4.4.

Yeah! What up fellow Rangers? I'm looking for some splitty action this winter, glad to see we have a forum just for us. I'll be making a DIY shortly, and i'll be ready to explore all over the front range. Got my avy 1 last winter.
bravo_castle, we'll have to try and ride on mondays, I have every other one off.

I'm going up to James Peak Wilderness next Tuesday or Wednesday to suss out conditions. Might turn into a long scouting/skinning session depending on conditions, but give a shout if you want to join in for a 5-7 hour tour.
Turns are not gauranteed (yet), but I always have a nice time up there regardless. Will be heading up Boulder Canyon between 7-8am.

Hey RMS, I'm not usually available during the week, but we should definitely hook up for some turns this season. My usual partner is no longer available, so I need to find some more BC friends. Are you going to the CAIC Bash this weekend?

Rms-did you make it up to James peak wilderness? I attempted mt Sherman after the Caic event and got blasted by wind. Gusting 80-90 on the upper ridges. Totally insane. Very little snow in the area.

Yep, went up Wednesday. Wind was gusting pretty good near and above treeline, but not so bad in the trees. The whole area needs another couple feet of snow before I'll go back- usually I can ride almost the entire way out, but had to skin almost the entire way out since the main trail still had so many rocks and trees poking through the snow.
