It was good. although its getting a little beat up. Had to go to stashes away from the obvious/ normal spots. South and west aspects are getting a little crunchy. No rocks hit. Still needs a bit more snow.

Hey guys - I'm new to Calgary but not new to the rockies. I'll be looking for some partners once my new split gets here. Looking forward to riding with some of you...
Hey there guys i am from e-town although ride all over very frequently i am currently waiting for my hovercraft split... taking forever although i would love to hit some back country stuff that is lift access in the meantime, hit me up if anyone is going to hit sunshine back door, or side door i would love to learn where the gates are and i could pass on some knowledge of some spectacular backcountry to be found off summit platter at lake louise just pm me or facebook me Jason Mcneil
Sounds like I'm in the same boat as a few others. This will be my 4th year splitting, my new split should arrive on my doorstep by the end of the week. I'm in SW Calgary, have AST-1 and would consider myself Intermediate as far as backcountry experience goes.
I have a few buddies(skiers) who head out once in a while but they're hit and miss and I want to get out more - preferrably with other splitters. I'm up for day trips to K country or extended weekends to Rogers Pass, Kootenay Pass, etc.
If you want to hook up drop me a PM and we can get some plans going. Note, apres beers are mandatory

Well for those of you that wanted to go to Highwood Pass, better hurry. road closes 12:01 am December 1st. I went out this morning for a few quick runs. Snow was pretty thick. But there was lots of it.
A few of us are heading out Sunday Dec 4th out of Calgary, no planned options just yet. got the auto reply for this post on if others are interested. This will be round 1 for me this season so nothing overly serious, except for beer and nachos afterwards.

Super early notice, but does anyone want to head out next week mid week? I need to use up a couple vacation days before the end of the year or I lose them... I'm heading to Revelstoke this weekend to ride the resort with some friends but would like to get a few tours in before I have to head east for Christmas.
