Voile have seen our work and have told us categorically nothing else compares. Our DIY splitboards ride better than a manufactured splitboards as they are cut using a water jet from a single piece of wood. Hope we can help the community!!

Please explain your patented approach, as it seems to be just a simple waterjet cut! Also, can you share some pics of your fancy inside edge that doesn't remove any core material?

Not a real humble approach to addressing a community of people that embody the true splitboard spiriit.

Hmmmm..... looks a lot like a pair of rughty binders I purchased.

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for viewing the website. We've spent 3 years figuring out the best way to cut a board using a water jet and, without giving away our IP, it might sound simple, but we promise it isn't. We've cut over 100 boards. Also, know this, if you have access to a water jet you could try it yourself, but you only get one chance. Finally, we've done everything we can to get the cost down, geting people into a solid splitboard setup without the cost of a manufactured splitboard (including the mounting of the Voile kit). This, we believe, benefits the whole community. Another reason we are stoked is that customers are stoked and are telling us our boards are riding as well as the board before it was cut!

We'll post some pictures of the inside edge soon. The binding modifications are modifications to manufactured binders allowing them to mount flush against the board, absolutely no patent infringement. Hope this all helps.

I can really feel your energy and enthusiasm on your website and post! Now I wish I kept my favorite solid Solomon 450 -159 instead of giving it to a friend that will never use it...I'd love to have that in my split quiver using your cutting methodology!

So your water jet cutting procedure for snowboards it patent pending? The technical details seem a little vague. I think some pictures or a thorough explanation would really help with credibility. Of course if your patent is out there, show us! A quick patent search on google patents, did not bring anything up for sick splits, water jet splitboard, etc? =)

waterjet cutting is ok. but not the best, chep and fast option you had ...... notice you cut with high pressur and a saphir ( stone with a hole ) the simpel water cutting machies work in a range on a long distance +- 05... 2 axes machine ..... all other machines are too expensive for cut simel boards s a
