Nice work! Baker looks sweet - I need to make the drive up there one of these days  Love the early season riding on the volcanoes!

That's awesome, can't believe you guys are riding already. Conditions looks pretty decent for mid october.

it sure sucks to be sitting at work when i know the conditions are great out there right now. i hope someone is shredding and taking pictures today.

well they can make me come to my cubicle, but they can't make me stop thinking about snow, dammit. here's a pano i just assembled of baker from heliotrope. it was my first real look at this impressive mountain, and all i've got to say is, damn, props to everyone who's ridden the coleman headwall. that's a proud line indeed!

my first turns for the season on hood yesterday set the bar real low.

this is a long shot but were you and ale in portland at the climbing gym a week or so ago? i saw some peeps that looked like you two, and there was a vanagon in the parking lot.

jules--i thought your fashion sense would approve of my switch to a helmet of a different color than my jacket! (plus the old one was rather beat up after years of doing its job).

chris--nope, not us, though i hope to make it down your way this winter for a few tours. a good rule of thumb is that if any vanagon is not all smashed up on the driver's side and covered in rust, primer, and fiberglass, it's not mine! (though hopefully that will change by next winter).

i'm not too proud of my form here but then again this was literally the first time i had my board on an edge since last "winter" ended in june. it makes me smile just thinking about how happy i was at that moment. thanks for the photo!!

ha!

Sorry I didn't post that up myself, but I thought I'd let you go through and pick the best of the worst. ;) Actually, I am talking about my photography.
