This is definitely a new dynamic with the advent of the Karakorum system. Just something that needs to get worked through. Sounds like any adjustments that any manufacturer needs to make are pretty simple on both sides.

I just ordered the Karakoram bindings and noticed the same issue with my NS 10/11 split, the inserts are 4" apart. How did you resolve this, did Vince replace your board or did you have Bryce make you custom brackets? Im kind of getting the run around from Never Summer on the issue. Didnt think I would regret ordering a NS split.
The insert problem is fixed. They all come with the standard standard spacing of all production splitboards. Jeri's board was a one off issue. I've spoken with Vince about it. Going from design to production doesn't always go as planned. The insert spacing was off in a mechanical process for that run. Their current splits work fine with the Karakorum system. They were more stressed out by the fact they didn't catch this before it went out the door. It only happened to this one board that I know of.

I know of several never summer boards with the spacing issues from last year. Is never summer trying to cover themselves by saying they meant to do it? Was it a mistake then? Should my board be fixed or replaced by never summer? My voile interface is impossible to get just right with the 4" spacing. I wonder what voile would say about their interface mounted on such a stupid spacing.
