 Post subject: Ripcord to release snowboard bindings (in case of Avy)?

What is your experience with the Avalanche Ripcord of the Voilé Light Rail Bindings?
I found the same principle (the ripcord attached to both release levers creating a sort of one step release handle) on a 2003 document from this site http://www.akavalanches.com/.../00iSnow ... ighton.pdf they suggest to tie together both "release handles" to operate both with one pull.

I want to replicate it on my Ride bindings but Id like to have a feedback before drilling holes in the levers!

Agreed - might work in a tree well situation, might not... best gadget in a tree well aside from your tranciever? a 5c whistle so you can be heard by your partners.
