I also got to try out a pair of Burner highbacks and I felt they were an improvement for me (northeast, variable conditions, tight trees). I am a big guy, 260+lbs. before gear. The stiffness of the Burner highback truly improved the responsiveness from my board on day 1. The difference is noticeable just holding them and giving a squeeze...
big ups for Will for giving me a chance to finish my season with em and big ups for the stiffer highback
Totally agree, on the Burner highbacks and Spark's customer service. Heelside turns are very snappy, even in mountaineering boots with the Burner back, quite happy!
I really don't get the Voile haters but I guess everyone has a different experience depending on the complaint and the way it is presented.
The only time I had to call Voile was for input in installing the DIY kit on my old Burton S with the original interface. The guy I talked too was very helpful.
I've used their gear for almost 10 years and have never had a reason to call customer service because the gear just keeps going strong: no broken brackets, busted straps, exploded bindings, lost crampons...customer service don't mean dick when our gear breaks on the hill.

I just rode my blazes with my upgraded "burner" high backs. They are a lot better.
But why does the foam padding start peeling off on the first day? Its kinda wierd. I haven't ever had it happen on any other bindings and I've had a few. do they not have the super sticky toxic glue everyone else has ??

Guys, my first post here, however I've been visiting this forum for more than 2 years:) I'd like to know your opinion. Finally I'm buying SPARKS tomorrow, spent last 2 days here to find out whether to buy BLAZE or BURNER. Ive got C60s on my allround board + driverXs, so 'd like to get similar response from my split setup. Are BLAZE highbacks really so soft, that I should rather buy BURNER? thanks a lot
