What would be the benefit over using tail clips?

Those skins don't use glue! So all of the hassles related to glue go away.

The Gecko Skins look interesting too...not sure where to get em though

The guy is based in Stowe, VT. I spoke with him over the phone and he said there is a splitboard application. They are just getting started over here in the states. They do cost more than the tractor skins and he quoted me $195 a set. I told him I wanted to demo them before I bought if I was going to be the guinea pig. There was supposed to be a Tahoe rep that was just starting (this was in Feb), but I never got a call back.

I was actually in VT in early March and tried to reach him, but never got a hold of him. Who knows - seems like vaporware to me at this point.
