I was wondering if anyone has come up with a good way to create some canting under the pucks on a voile system to make splitting with hard boots more workable. I've tried cutting up some UHMW plastic, (big thick cutting board) but it is tough to get the angles correct on both pucks so that the slider plate will actually slide on without a battle. The other thing that bothers me is the bolt heads (longer replacements) now hit the puck so that only part of the bolt head is in contact. Should I try to mill the the puck where the bolt head sits so it's flush with the bolt head, or am I spending too much time worrying about it? Just trying to avoid equipment failure when I'm going to be a chopper ride and a week away from the car....
