Anyone have a snowboard case they really like?

I'm looking for a decent case and just checking if anyone has any opinions before I just go buy one that looks alright.

Check out the DAKINE LOW RIDER roller. Low cost relative to the Bling Burton Locker, as such it has a lower profile but, not as low as a non roller, which is even lower cost:- Burton Shoulder carry Snowboard bags (these Burton bags although cool, don't fit the kitchen sink inside like, the Dakine Low Rider). Besides, Dakine makes bomb proof bags that lasts long enough until all your other snow gear starts falling apart by the seams. Wheels are a blessing when all your crap starts weighing you down. It drives like a semi trailer though, be prepared to bowl people over with your bag. And yeah, well when you pack so much crap like I do below, be prepared to do some heavy lifting hauling it on the back of a high trailer behind your public bus.

As said enough room to fit the kitchen sink:

It can fit my Venture Storm splitboard with bindings off, my solid Burton board with bindings on. Blaze bindings fits in the separate boot compartment. You can also ditch the solid board and pack the splitboard with the bindings on, so you can use the boot storage for, well your boots. Spare clothes for the weekender, you can probably get away with a multidayer down in the bottom of the mountain, packing some anti smelling (i.e. Marino wooly thermals or silver ion infused stuff) keeping your gear to a minimum.

Plus your tools, back protector (for in bounds rides without a backpack, I dont take this on split tours, although it could be a good idea, backpacks with stiff backs are also good protection for your precious spinal cord ), helmet, gloves, socks, under daks, gore tex shells, fleece, sneakers, munchies, stuff.

I then compliment the roller with my ABS backpack and carry all my other essential crap, like googles, feather down vest, wind stopper gloves, shovel, probe, Avalung, crampons, Avy beacon,and whatever you need to find your way in the backcountry etc etc...

I was thinking along the lines or something more basic (without wheels) but now you have me considering something like the Dakine Low Roller.

I picked up the Dakine High Roller. Fits 2 boards with binders and boots in the compartment. Went with the HR over the LR because Im not into switching bindings on and off boards all the time. I mow people down with the thing all the time. I have the 165cm, packed a 153cm, a 156cm, and a 162cm board in there plus everything else needed for shredding.

I'd get something with wheels though cuz either way you slice it carrying a board bag loaded with gear gets old quick

My first bag was a really nice Burton bag. What I quickly learned while lugging it through airports in Europe was that I blew it by not getting a bag with wheels - guaranteed you will put your boots, helmet, avy gear, bindings in it - it weighed a ton and was awkward to haul around. I more recently got an Ogio Agent (don't think it's made anymore) and it's great. Don't care for the color I got (was all they had) but it's extremely durable, carries as much as I can stick in it, and the wheels are awesome. Lots of handles on it make it simple to move it in and out of the car, etc. I can put my power stick, my split, my regular board with bindings, my split bindings, and boots in it and wheel it around with ease. So, I recommend burly wheels, and lots of handles and pockets.

thanks guys, I recently got a small padded Burton bag just for in the meantime, it only holds on board with binders, no boots or anything. Everything has been on sale now though too so I'll hopefully be picking up a larger bag with wheels soon.
