Been loggin some time on the eastside with the SL

I did check beforehand and took all the shims off so MR chomps fit and the fit was titties. Mr Chomps stabs the ice right in the middle of the board where the rocker is and you ski right up an icy double black diamond
California corn

I got mine today but no stickers :-( The board looks awesome in person and pictures don't do it justice. The fit and finish is great. My preK son saw it and said, "Hey is that your new splitboard? It's awesome and I like the eagle." ;-)

Yea fitit your gonna be stoked on your new ride. I was out touring with a buddy of mine who has a new venture 161. We traded boards for one lap and both of us noticed how significantly lighter the SL split is. On the other hand the Venture was noticably stiffer. I like my NS much better

I'm pretty stoked. I was checking out the Rocker-camber profile of the board, and it looks great. I put it on the ground and was checking it out. I can see how easily it is to change from rocker to camber when the rider wants it in snowboard mode. The rocker maybe a little challenging with icy build up if you are in skin tracks of other people (but why would you want that!). I'm anxious to try all modes of the board. You just can't go wrong with the build of the NS boards - it's always nice when your 1st choice is American made. Everyone says Venture are heavy, but also good boards. I was considering them and Prior before I got the NS. That is funny, I'm surprised you got your SL back from him!

i've got more than 50 daze in on mine and it still looks cherry...
peeps keep askin me how i like the 'new' board
me likee!
light weight, bombproof materials and construction, 3 year warrenty, cant go wrong.
r/c shape gives good float, solid edging n carving and quick to turn when ya need it
it does take a bit of getting used to if youre new to the shape, if youre used to reg camber you'll need to train your back leg to push hard n fast to get out of the back seat, but on the other end you wont dive over the bars unless you really deserve it. Also you'll want to land airs with your tail, if you stomp your landings with a flat base (in pow i mean, what else?) it can really re bounce ya.
When ya get used to the ride its rilly a hi performer, shreds anything in all conditions, fun n effortless.
